Das Swiss Soca Festival bringt karibische Rhythmen und karibische Lebensfreude nach Zug. Zu diesem Anlass startet die Saison mit einem offiziellen Pre-Event am wohl wunderschönsten Platz, den man in Zug nur finden kann: Auf dem Zugersee.
Am 13. Mai sticht die MS Titan mit seiner Crew – bestehend aus Soca Lovers, sowie Reggae & Dancehall Enthusiasten – in See.
Getrieben von den treibenden Rhythmen segelt die Crew dem Sonnenuntergang entgegen und wird Teil dieses jährlich einmaligen Caribbean Music Erlebnisses.
Damit die Energie für die vollen 4 Stunden Bootsfahrt «pon di top!» bleibt sorgen sorgfältig ausgewählte DJs. Mit Ruff Pack Intl. sind eine der renommiertesten Reggae/Dancehall DJ-Crews der Schweiz an Bord. Äusserst interessant wird’s auch wenn DJ KenKylla von frankophonen Karibikinsel Martinique seinen Sound zum Besten gibt und natürlich darf auch der Host und resident-DJ Selecta Iray (Luzern/Zug) nicht fehlen.
Gleich im Anschluss an die Bootsfahrt will selbstverständlich niemand nach Hause. So sind wir wortwörtlich «stranded» – und zwar im BugHouse Zug, wo es die offizielle Afterparty gibt. Hier laden zusätzlich die DJs Cut-EFX und Rising Fyah Sound zur Party ein.

Swiss Soca Festival is just about to bring Caribbean rhythms and Caribbean zest to Switzerland – to Zug, just to be precise. For that occasion the season starts with an official Pre-Event at the most beautiful place in Zug: On the Lake of Zug.
On May 13th the MS Titan and its Crew – consisting of Soca Lovers aswell as Reggae & Dancehall enthusiasts put to see and become part of a yearly but unique Caribbean Music experience.
To make sure the energy stays “pon di top!” for the four hours of the boatride, wisely selected DJs give their best to provide only the finest. With Ruff Pack intl. one of the most renowned in Swiss Reggae and Dancehall are on board. Extremely exclusive will be the appearance of DJ KenKylla from the francophone Caribbean island Martinique who will bring the respective musical flavours. Who can not be missing on the boat is the host and resident-DJ Selecta Iray (Luzern/Zug).
Right after the boatride – when nobody feels like going home – we are literally “stranded”. That’s the name of the official afterparty at the Club “BugHouse”. Here the DJs Cut-EFX and Rising Fyah Sound join forces with the crew and promis a worthy afterparty until the early morning.
